Combining the rapid-deployment of a parachute with the comfort of an air mattress, the ‘air chair’ was the best beach accessory I had ever come across, and I was determined to sell them.
Meet Dave.
Dave carried our air chairs in his Nantucket-based shop, Indian Summer. He was our first vendor.
How We Got Started
Using my experience behind a camera, I took photos of my air chairs that gave off fun, summer vibes and then I built a website and Instagram page to display them.
In addition to online sales, we were able to get our product in Indian Summer Surf Shop, a Nantucket-based surf shop.
From this experience, I learned many lessons in sales, storytelling, and branding.
